Privacy Policy
Last updated August 3, 2026
1. Overview
This Privacy Policy explains what information Kairo collects when you use our website and services (the "Service"), how we use it, and the choices you have. Kairo is built around public, on-chain data — we designed the Service to require as little personal information as possible.
2. Information we collect
Wallet and on-chain data: when you connect a wallet, we read your public wallet address and publicly available on-chain activity (such as owned names, listings, offers and transaction history) to power features like your portfolio view. This information is already public on Robinhood Chain.
Usage data: we may collect standard technical information such as browser type, device type, pages viewed, and approximate location (derived from IP address) to help us understand how the Service is used and to keep it secure.
Cookies and local storage: we use cookies and local storage to remember preferences (such as wallet connection state and display settings) and to support core functionality.
3. What we don't collect
Kairo never asks for, and you should never share, your private keys or seed phrase. We do not collect this information, and anyone asking you for it on Kairo's behalf is attempting to defraud you.
4. How we use information
We use the information above to: operate and improve the Service (discovery, analytics, portfolio and marketplace features); monitor and maintain the security and integrity of the Service; understand aggregate usage trends; and communicate updates about Kairo, including through our official X account.
5. Sharing of information
We do not sell your personal information. We may share limited technical or usage data with service providers who help us operate the Service (such as hosting and analytics providers), and these providers are only permitted to use the data to perform services on our behalf.
Because wallet activity is recorded on a public blockchain, any data associated with your wallet address is inherently public and viewable by anyone, on Kairo or elsewhere, independent of this policy.
6. Data retention
We retain usage data for as long as necessary to operate the Service and for legitimate business purposes such as security and analytics. On-chain data is retained on Robinhood Chain independent of Kairo and cannot be deleted by us.
7. Your choices
You can disconnect your wallet from Kairo at any time, which stops the Service from reading further wallet-linked data during your session. You can also clear cookies and local storage through your browser settings.
8. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we handle. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from individuals under the age of 18.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "last updated" date below. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
